The Dry Tortugas are seven islands located nearly 70 miles west of Key West. You can take the official concesionare ferry (the Yankee Freedom), a seaplane or your own boat to get there. Getting Ready For Our Florida Road Trip

We are getting ready to leave for our Florida National Parks road trip soon. First, we are flying into Fort Lauderdale and staying in Key Largo and Key West. We will visit Biscayne National Park, Everglades National Park, Dry Tortugas National Park and hopefully Pigeon Key National Historic Site.
